AP System Rollout Project  [ Budget: $1m   Resources: 4FTE   Duration: 3months ]

Project was to roll out new RCP based component to Marketers & Middle Office teams in Asia Pacific (Japan, Singapore, Korea, Sydney) regions. Considerable challenges were identified relating to time zone, regional operational complexities and organization cultures differences.

Procurement was restricted and the new system had to operate within constraints. Operational & organizational culture differences meant the trade capturing and processing techniques had to cater for all regions. Automation & process improvement met several political resistances throughout the project cycle.



Organized regular discussion with business managers, plan & operate teams to device an implementation plan. Created and marketed business case for the change and to justify the additional PC procurements. Resource utilization for each targeted PC was collated and plan was devised to rollout changes. Interfaced several operational, plan and operate groups for rollout and post support structure.


Successfully rolled out new system to 80% user base with 95% satisfaction feedback within 4months timeline. Remaining business groups/people were scoped and informed about the upgrade according to plan and the project was handed over to regional project managers.
