Bringing the strategic trade-capture and revenue-reconciliation system up to the bank's compliance and risk standards so it could be rolled out globally.

The challenge

The system had been declared strategic across Rates, Credit and GEM but failed compliance and risk standards. Developer access to production had to go, key access changes had to be secured and logged, and a plan-build-operate support model put in place.

What I did

• Completed risk and compliance training and gathered requirements with the risk and compliance managers.

• Documented support techniques and personally trained second-level operate teams in Houston and Singapore.

• Set up level-one support, downtime resolution, start- and end-of-day activities, release and disaster-recovery exercises.

Outcome

• System declared compliant and rolled out to additional business groups as the strategic solution.
